This policy explains how Ochre Coast Property ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit ochrecoast.com, email us or book a consultation.
Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect
- When you email us: your name, email address and anything you tell us about your property (address, photos, the work you need).
- When you book a consultation: your name, email and any answers you give in the booking form. Bookings are handled by Calendly.
- When you become a client: details needed to quote, carry out and invoice the work, such as billing details and tax number.
- When you visit the website: our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (such as IP address, browser and time of visit) for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To carry out and manage the work you hire us for — performance of a contract.
- To keep invoices and accounting records — legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure and working — our legitimate interest.
We never sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
- Contractors working on your property, only what they need to do the job (for example, the property address).
- Service providers who help us run the business: our email provider (Namecheap Private Email), website host (Netlify), booking tool (Calendly) and font provider (Google Fonts).
- Our accountant and public authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some providers (Netlify, Calendly, Google) may process data in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months.
- Client records: for the duration of the work and then as long as needed for legal claims.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by Portuguese law.
Your rights
